Hello Cubo, I'm new in this site. I read all the thread, it's really impressive haw good your work seems! My primary goal is to mantain lightweight (and save some money...) so I just grab off ebay a pair of Beyma 15P1000ND. All parameters seems to be right, except for the Vas, that is quite smaller (88 lt). I was planning to realize a double asymmetric open load system (a sort of bass reflex resonating into another bass reflex chamber) but I'm so fascinated by your plan... here are the specificationof the speaker:

@Massimo: Workable from 40 Hz in Cubo 15 Extended. Low Vas is compensated for by medium Qes. You could simulate Cubo 15 as a series tuned bp where the rear chamber ports into the front chamber.

No need to adjust, other then to put it in Cubo 15 Extended. I do recommend a 40 Hz high pass.

ill be using the box to play 70hz - 160hz, so do i still build the extended version or the normal cubo?

also has anyone got a cut sheet for the extended version?

That's a negative, there's currently no Cubo-design I would recommend for the 70 - 160 Hz operating range. Cubo 15 will be massively loud in that range but doesn't sound right above 125 Hz in my opinion. If up to 140 Hz there might be some other designs to be mentioned but for up to 160 Hz only the HD15 comes to mind.

The cut sheet for Cubo 15 Extended is the same as for the Standard version plus a single panel of 18 x 58.4 cm.
