the idea for the meet was original for like minded people to listen to some systems chat speakers, put faces to names etc, nothing too serious, just a day of fun. comparing differant speakers etc by ear. It can be what ever you guys want it to be.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news guys but...... There has been a major fire in the venue we plan to use for the meet. The flats above the venue are destroyed there is extensive heat damage to the venue which was directly below the flats. To make it worse my m8t was in the flats at the time of fire with his partner and were pulled out by the fire service. They are both in a very bad way in intensive care. I wont no the exact state of the club till later this week once it has been made safe. Hopefully the damage is not too bad so the meet can still go ahead. Im told there is no fire damage to the club just heat and water. All this is not important though just hope my m8t and his partner are ok.

I will keep you posted on events as i am looking forward to this event. If we cant use the venue i may be able to use one of there other venues.

thanks m8t, no news as yet my m8t should be ok so the docs say, but his partner is critical one of the bar staff is in a bad way too, he is in a 3rd degree burns special unit. All three of them are still in intensive care units the next 24 hours is critical.

the damage to the venue is very small, the venue was checked over today and should be back open this weekend so good news for the meet. full steam ahead the meet is back on at this venue smiley20 . My m8t and his partner are still in intensive care on life support machines not good the next 48 hours are critical i just hope they pull through.

tash is off life support making a good recovery, mike is back home, but my m8t is still in a very bad way thanks for asking nicky.
