Will, your post reminds me of something I set up years ago. Myself and my partner in the guitar company we had, made a pact. When my time comes I want my ashes to be mixed with resin and inserted into a special guitar I made, so that I became one of my guitars. My wife would be able to stand me in the corner, and give me the occasional twang. That is of course, after being taken in, contained in my flight case coffin. I have a picture of it somewhere, with me sitting in checking the size. I'll post it if I can find it.

I enjoyed the meet very much - it was good to see this forum can bring so many people! I couldn't put names to faces with a lot of the folks I talked to but they were all really sound and positive about things.

I agree the most impressive scoop was Tony's, but they all did the business - will any of these be out at the Notting Hill Carnival this year?

My own little system seemed to play as expected - the bass and high mid/hf were fine, but there's a "known issue" with a gap between 300Hz and 600Hz which several people noticed - the difference in sound compared with the porn horn was all too clear. At some point this year I'll do a new design for the tops cabinets to try and fill that gap. But the subs plans are now on the plans page (at the time of writing, the jpg is an attachment link at the bottom of the page, not a thumbnail like the other plans, this will get fixed at some point).

Can the Wattco boys let us know what frequencies they were crossing things over at. And also what power they were putting into the cabs.

Cheers.

That was my modified Staipier MS18. Belongs to BP now.
The driver was a little loose in the cab as it has done a lot of work recently and it's only on clamps and was cut fro PD. To be honest me and Barry were suffering from serious lack of sleep, we got sidetracked into a little party until 4am. Much booze too............Messy
We put it back in the van early, didn't have the energy to look for tools even. It played low and heavy but farted past the driver.
Mental note for next meet, go straight there, no party
Going to do one of Staip's new mini's soon. Unless he wants to come up with the proper plans for that, "Traditional" drawing he has just done.
