My garage has been taken over by 'homework' for the day job at the moment so cabinet building has ground to a halt. However when it gets going I've got 7 half-finished cabs and enough drivers to build a selection of others. Plus I should start prototyping new mid-tops at some point.....
I think you should get your arse up to cold Norway and help me out with some builds. I don't have enough time or skills atm.
Amplifier design.. On, like circuit level?!? Have you reached level 38 wizard in DIY audio?

I haven't reached Wizard level yet but I'm working on it. I've been doing electronics longer than I've been doing all things sound and lighting related but only recently got into designing amplifiers. And yes, completely from the ground up. There's a picture in the amp forum I think.

I have spent many happy months around the Trondheim area but could have done without the month at Karajsok (January).
I went back there a few months later and got kicked out of my room so that the King could open the new Sami parliament and so his entourage took over the hotel !!!
Very happy times indeed, never did get used to the moonshine though or the putrid fish that had been buried for months.

The closest to you that I have worked is Skien but It was only for a few days.
As you put it I remember this as tractor country although I did enjoy the Spirrolen @ Drammen on the way back to Oslo *.

It's like having a party in a room that's too big for the crowd. A smaller room thats packed always seems better.
I think you are right, but I don't really know what sections should be removed.I am fully opened to your suggestions...
I am glad to read that new projects are on their way, keep us posted on the progress. This is going to be a great summer. smiley4

I fixed this issue this morning, you are now redirected correctly, it was due to some commented php in the template.

first post, whoop!
With so many audio forums: speakerplans, diyaudio, psw to name a few, it is very difficult to start a new one.
Similarly I had great aspirations for speakerporn but it has failed to really take off - partly because of lack of effort on my part in the advertising and uploading front. However, I still log on and see some great new photos being uploaded every few weeks and I remind myself that it was worth it and as long as it gets used then eventually it will grow.
Have faith, as long as friends have been made and ideas shared then the site will have been worth it.
Keep up the good work. I'l try to add some new plans!
