After years of useing my own mixture of Trimite paint, I moved on to the people who do my colour 2 pack for the Hi Fi I just use a black 2 pack whose ingedients are by Sayerlac. It's a heavy pigment paint, and it's good to spatter. I can have it made from 25% to 95% gloss. I use 25%, and now that I just paint small numbers at a time I can buy it at 5 litres a time. The Trimite used to come in 100 litre drops.
Look for a car paint supplier, They usually, as mine does, do paint for wood finnish.
