Then in our FREE SPEAKING COUNTRY expect people on a forum to tell it as it is.
Don't try to stifle the free speach with threats of litigation, take it like a grown up and deal with it.
IMHO any threats of such should be posted by the mods for the world to see.
This is the UK, not USA. smiley33

I really feel for him, must have been a nightmare.
The quote that made me post here.
"Already I have to waste many days each month dealing with companies wanting to sue due to people bitching on here without a thought to what they are saying"
Beats me why when/if a company messes up they just cant say sorry, or if they believe they havn't, then open the discussion. But no, as the quote says, litigation.
So there you have it, the reason for the post.

From my experience on SP & FSP "some" manufacturers are more concerned about how comments effect their perceived image, sales & profits.
They don't believe an individual would make negative comments about their products, due to negative experience, to motivate them
to do better.
Seems far easier for them to accept that the individual is on an "agenda" to attack their product, probably for financial means, as an
agent for other companies.
Yes, this has happened in the past on SP.
However, if someone sees a product fail publicly in a forum shootout/test, and comments about it on the forum,
doesn't mean they are "necessarily" on an agenda, may just mean they weren't impressed, and have some comments, which may prove positive
to a product's future.
