Black is with, Francis.

Note the roll off slope on the ported is much neater

You have to measure it in real life to see what the proper diff is. If you look at ceharden's plots of HD15 versus CHported you can see...

The port is just another way (apart from another horn) to load the rear of the driver.

Fair enough...hey, you're in Denmark, ain't wood meant to be cheap over there? Or am I wrong...

I'd use lower ply count for a proto. Would save a few discs...21mm mdf is just insanely heavy for something like a WSX.

Mykey: Would have been better if you'd have shown plots of the Brute with a sealed rear chamber and with the ported chamber rather than just the non-combined response. The plot without the port still has the notch where the port is controlling the driver.

Which drivers are you using?

Did you build according to Centauri plans, or modified?

Fireman wrote: what would happen if one ports it?? single port like the one Mykey have on his.

You would only port it to enhance low freq, at cost of efficiency, these babies go down to 40hz in singles (with right driver), so no need for that.

I am using 18Sound 18W1000 and the plans are build according to centauri plans
