Its gonna cost you a good 175 ish for a digital speaker managment system.
IF you built a full reflex system instead you could keep costs down and make do with a simple 3way analog cross over for around the 50quid mark.
Bigger systems come at bigger costs...

But reflex really defeats the whole point of why I'm building the system

Tbh there's no way in hell that I'll have it done by my original target so money is less of a problem coz now there are two of us and I'm really trying to get a job, once I have a job, I'll be sorted

Btw do you know the actual names of the Facebook groups where people sell the rig parts?

Nope. I stay away from "stalk-book" for a reason. Have a hunt around, you'll find them.

Yeah I have nothing against a reflex system, it's just that I simply want a horn system, I find them fun to build, and the latest system I heard had a cbe in it and I swear to god if I don't have one in my rig I will sell the rig as soon as I build it just from sheer disappointment (slightly exaggerating) and tbh now that you said we shouldn't mix and match, it's made my life a lot easier!!

they are a good range of amps... and will serve you well (as long as you keep them in their limits and dont thrash them!) and if you buy a DCX or the like to manage your amps and speakers you wont need an EQ unit as the DCX will take care of all of that in one unit.

a DCX will do:
EQ
crossover (using several types of filters)
delay
phase shift
and a few other bits and bobs even im not aware of!!

but if you buy even a second hand amp... try to buy a fully working 1.....
