You can buy sound deadening material for use around your car engine bay. It is self adhesive and can be cut to size.
You will have to google to find a local supplier.

have you tried it?
another method ive seen is to use expanding pu foam and fill the cab, but i dont really want to do that as it would make changing drivers a nightmare.

I woke up. The pain and sickness all over me like an animal. Then I realized what it was. The music coming up from the floor was our old friend, Ludwig Van, and the dreaded Ninth Symphony.

anything bitumen based - roof felt, sealant etc always works well as it is elastic and dense, so absorbs vibrations well. cheap too.

I can only add that car deadening pads are good to use. I even used to put them round the early Turbo mid flares. Metal horns have always rung. In '75 when I started to produce the fibreglass stuff, I used state powder in the mix which gave them weight and made them less resonant. Even if you glued blocks of mdf onto the horns, it would help. Anything to transfer or deaden resonance is good.
