While searching for some good links to visually help me describe something I intend to discuss on this forum (thats still for another thread though), I ran into some pre-built cabinets that nearly had me drooling !
They met a great deal of the criteria I am looking for and I was very excited........ until I thought it through!
Yes like ALL speaker ever built,there were some compromises.
OK,so if all speakers have some compromises whats wrong with that then, you might ask.
Whats wrong with that is that they weren't the RIGHT compromises IMHO.
Since the speakers I want are for me my opinion may not be so humble either.
If I build my own speakers I have the FREEDOM OF CHOICE as to what compromises I make !
As to what I believe best suits my needs or purposes!
I am sure there are many reasons to build,but I suspect for most everyone that the number 1 reason to build is Freedom of choice !
