when building a box like this forget about how heavey they are and go for the better driver. I will post up a few plots tommorrow of differant drivers in this box. As for a horn you need a 2" with a dispersion angle of 60x40. The B&C me60 is a 2" 60x40, not sure if this one would work, Any ideas Tony ASS........... The B&C DE850TN HF looks like a good driver too.......

If you are asking me about horns, I only have experience of my own horns. Regarding compression drivers, go for the flattest response. although there's no guarantee the response you see on the spec will be the one you end up with. Wouldn't life be wonderful if what you saw is what you got.

looking at the plots the B&C 12pe32 is a good choice as is the 18 sound 12mb700 driver. If you want me to plot any more for you let me now what drivers you are looking at.

18Sound 12ND710 is missing from that selection. Not actually checked the modelling in an MT122 but from the specs and the performance of it in my direct radiating cabs it should be very good.

I would say the PD Neo is definitely a good option. 12PE32 if you don't care about weight, PDN12MH25 if you do!

Isn't is a coincident that the 3 italian speakers are almost identical, must be the food. I have recently asked for an equivalent neo version of the 12PE32. it's one that I've always used for mids. There are very few dedicated mids on the market. Strange, because from an engineering point of view, I think it's the most important.
Although the jury may still be out with regard to neo versions of bass speakers, I think the neo speakers for mids are the way to go.
