Replacement 2" comps was created by super-hero
I'm thinking about replacing some 2" JBL compression drivers with something that can go a bit highter. I need something that gives me more 8k and above.
I currently use jbl bullets above the comps, but would like to get rid of them.

Any suggestions?

Cheers.

I just want a 2" that will play higher than a jbl 2446

I want the sparkle of a bullet, but without the bullet.

I havent given the budget much thought to be honest.

Idealy I would like to be able to sell the cabs I have and that money pay for the new comps.

So whatever 4x 2446 and 4x 2405 will sell for is about my budget.

I know that's not a lot of help, but if anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

There are a few B and C drivers that would fit the bill. They have the largest range of any Manufacturer. I'm still using the DE85. Jbl isn't hard to beat on the top end. It's there, but the middle range of the driver is too loud and it masks what's happening above.
