wow...fiberglass...time to phase plug....
I developped a spreadsheet that can calculate horn shape, phase plug shape, lenght of panel, angle and much more...so...it was made for a single driver horn but I can modify. but first... let's start modelling.
IMHO the driver could be b&c 12pe32 but if someone prefer other please reply

I will look at a few differant drivers tonight and post up a few choices in the morning. The B&C is a good driver....

pic 1 is more in line with my original idea. the 2nd pic would be more suited to a dedicated mid base unit like the usb etc. im liking the idea of pic 1, Have you looked at the design plans for the lab horn..... in perticular the way they have mounted the 2 12" speakers firing in to the horn mouth.....

yes, i like the labhorn concept but I have a question, is that a push pull horn? I mean driver connected in series..

yes one driver is run positive the other is run negative, to give the push pull effect. dont know how this would behave in a midhorn.........

Sorry.. are you saying that PIC1 has the drivers wired opposite....? you wouldnt get a lot of sound out of it if thats the case! smiley22

sorry jake i kind of didny make it clear, when i read back my post it confused me too. From the Speakon's (1+) to #1 driver's (+),
from # 1 driver's (–) to #2 driver's (+) and from #2 driver's (–) to the Speakon's (1-).
