Ive got to say its taken me far far too long to get round to finishing these, must be 8 months scince you were kind enough to get those driver in for me i guess.


Unfortunately, the lightness of the neo motor is completely negated by the weight of the 24mm birch ply used for construction, but with a speaker like that im not wanting any panel losses. Just a simple reflex for now, we can try something more exciting in the future.


how about a twin 21" version of my beloved ls2000's ? might be a bit crazy a twin 21 bandpass.

I did a 2x21 reflex in the early days. Did the first lot of testing with Mike Harrison, using his new 5000 watt amps.

A harrison 5000w amp? never saw that. if that was built like their 1200's it must have weighed a bit

They sounded lush and I'm sure with more power and a lower crossover they would be even better.As it was they were crossed at 80hz -180hz if i remember rightly. a little too high for me.They do have the desired punch in the chest but they weren't reallypushed too hard(only 600watts).Need to get them out for a gig and chuck more power in to see what there true potential is.the response plot will be interesting to see.Still the 215 hybrid and 2X1 stack when running togetherhad some real weight.when stood up close my vision started to blur on certain notes.Chris's tops were soo crisp and loud a V.nice little stack.Bring on the horns.
