I have been really busy with my new job, it is very exciting but it kept me far from speakers and did not leave me time to fix the server.
I have applied several updates, the website is a lot faster now (and should hopefully remain this way for a long time).
I am also considering upgrading joomla's core to the latest version and maybe use a different forum engine as keeping things together is becoming a real challenge now.

oops just sent around 6000 emails by error ! I have worked on a new FSP server and have imported all users, forum categories, posts, attachments and articles into a new platform, unfortunately the latest joomla sends an email to all newly created members! smiley35 smiley11 :silent: damn it!!! if you received an email this afternoon, don't worry no info have been leaked.

On the bright side, joomla 2.5.1 with Kunena is very fast, scalable and offers many new features compared to our existing phpbb... tested with all the existing topics/posts it worked nicely (except for the mail mishap :mrgreen: )

More info about this over the next few days, I will probably open the "migrated" forum for you to see/test.

I think we will have to reset the passwords once the migration is done, but it will take a while to get everything working.So for now don't change a thing
