question on wiring mid/high cab with Xover network was created by 5150mk
i have 2 15inch with a horn enclosure with a crossover network installed already, all the components originally came from a JBL cab but the cabs were falling apart. I built some birch cabs to about the same specs as the original but are much improved. The factory jack plate had only (2) 1/4in trs jacks and i upgraded jack plates to a (2) speakon and (2) 1/4in trs. I want to use the crossover network sometimes but i want the option to be able to bi-amp the cab and run mids to the 15's and hi's to the horn. Is this possible to wire for both?

It can be done through wiring. In my Hi Fi cabs, I have 3-way passive X\o's and unlike normal x\o's with a common input, each section has its own input. When powered separately, the system is active. When all inputs are linked, the speaker is passive. It's always been possible to do it through a toggle switch also.
