5 people have died, and countless injured. This is the second stage collapse in north america this year. Sad and horrible.

there has allso been a few come down before the shows started, elton john, david guetta.... etc have all suffered stage collapses........ i would hope i never see an accident like this...... just shocking....

this year it looks like it was set up very differently, maybe rushed.......
but as i'm not a rigger or even know much about rigging it could of just been an accident......

Last years looked much better. Not really sure, they said it was a wind gust. Seems these things should be built to withstand that. I'll stick to my ground stacks.

they should put some walls up and diagonal bracing as that roof is miles high. from the video of this year, most of the weather comes in sideways!!
does look like an terrible bit of structural planning
lazy riggers relying on the two/three/four point fixes on each junction as integrated bracing
