looking for info on some speakers

i have a venue with 4 12" fern cabs and 4 8" fern cabs..... ive never herd of this make before...... the logo and badges on the back of the cabs are old and warn due to sun light...... im trying to find out what they are and what amp to use to power them all up..... cheers in advance.... smiley33

check this out.... www.webervst.com/codes.html . There is other info out there. Look at the baskets or sometime there is a sticker on the magnet. The codes are the (speaker) manufacturer and most will give the specs to you..

there lyes the problem, im guessing no. The hole system is not working at mo, ive managed to get the hf working on all cabs. But not the mid yet. The wiring is in a real mess. Im gonna post up a new thread in regards to this system and what do you guys think i should do...... Ive just to do a bit more research into all the components i have, and how to get them all working correctly.....

cheers nicky, looks like i need to open them up and take a closer look. Ive just taken over a new venue to supplie dj's too and the system has been messed up by people not knowing what all the kit doe's, even im a bit unsure on how to re-wire it all up. The kit list that is there is....

amp etc

3 x crown ce1000
1 x inter m r150
1 x nexo lsub500 (ps10)
1 x nexo ls400 (ps8)
1 x behringer composer pro (mdx2200)
1 x formula sound av2
1 x citronic ap231 graphic eq
1 x cloud z4 zone controller

speakers

1 x martin audio em15 (front door)
1 x martin audio em15 (dj monitor)
4 x nexo ps8
2 x nexo ps10
3 x fern 8+1......
2 x fern 12+6+1

they have had no sound in most of the venue for a few month, due to a member of bar staff tring to get it working smiley3

the thing is there is no budget to get anything fixed, so its a case of re-wiring it all up correctly and see how it sounds. at the mo there is a bunch of speakons not conected to any thing and amps av2 etc with nothing pluged into them....... ive traced some of the cables to some of the speakers, and so far all speakers work.....
