Noob question, joint sealant was created by PatricJ
Hi all, since I am undergoing my first build, I want to seal up all my joints. What's the best thing for this? Silicone? Something else? :ugeek:
The wood glue I used probably did a fair job of sealing things up, but I just want to make extra-sure and run a bead of something else in all the joints. Thanks !

you should'nt need any if all your joints are correct. But if you wanted to use a sealant then use decorators cork on the inside of your cab.......... You cant paint over Silicone, but can with decorators cork.......... It very simular to Silicone.......

Oh, ok, some of that general purpose stuff they sell at the hardware store then? Tub & tile, etc.? I think I can handle that. Thanks.
My joints so far are actually turning out pretty good. The screws I'm using really suck everything together well, but I guess I'm being a little paranoid. I'll have to post up some pics in the near future of the build.
Right on right on! smiley14
