I did indeed buy them... they were the ones you took to the que club i am informed.
I ended up buying 4 mx600's and 2 bs1200's, i would have liked 2 more bs1200's to finish the rig but i didnt have enough cash.
So if anyone know os some cheap bs1200's loaded with PD1550s please get in touch.
JBL Man: My back is ok but i havent tried lifting them to the top of a stack yet. I am still thinking of a safe way to do it.
Before Tony makes it over here, i have been thinking of cutting the hf part and making that into a separate cab to get the mid weight down to 75kg but i really havent got the heart to do it as they look so nice.
The phase plug is bloody amazing.... you would have to see it to believe it. i have a Porn Horn mk 2 and the MX600 is a million times more solid the that. the flare and plug sound like they are made from concrete!!!
Its a shame they weight like they are made from concrete too!
But thanks for all the advice guys, especially Robbo, Cal and Tony!
Im chuffed to bits with them and i havent even plugged them in yet
Edit: the pics dont do the phase plug justice... it is quite alot longer then it looks! I will takes some pics later onEdited by: Heathrow_B_Line

Excellent stuff Heathy, welcome to the ASS owners Club!....you will never find a better built cabinet than Tony`s....i recently finished renovating a pair of the matching trapizodal mx1200 bass horns, and they are a work of art.
I bet 4x mx600 has got some throw to it.
I think yours must be the later ones.....im sure Tony will correct me,i think the earlier ones had jbl 2450 HF.

if they are the same that where at the Q, then there are 2 pairs, each pair is slightly different(look closely)
We used them along side an Ev line array(8 tops per side). The ASS(for me) outperformed it. They throw without any effort.
I used to have an older ASS system myself, the most stupid thing i ever did was sell it. Apart from the BS500's i had the rest was bought from Robbo.
I had slightly older cabs, seperate mids and HF. The mids Where double 12", all made from Ply but no bungs which to my ears they needed. Plus a 2" and 2 Bullets.
I will dig a photo out.

Yes the cabs are slightly different which is slightly irratanting.
OH MY GOD these mx600 are solidly built. I havejust taken one of the rear access panels off to have a look at the pd121 drivers and they are massive! They remind me of a pd154...thats how big they look.
