Q18 Compact Sub was created by Tony Wilkes
The Q18 was designed to be used with an assisted alignment which allows real world sub performance with an 18" driver in a 100L nett box.
Full testing has not yet been completed and I will release construction details as soon as I am 100% happy.

very nice Tony, just like all your other designs/builds. no doubt it will sound just as good as all the others... on a box of this size (like the Q12) would you put wadding in the box?

Hiya Matey, I never use wadding apart from in the Q12, if you take the wadding out of a Q12 you will find that the tuning goes up by quite a bit. The only way I could fit the Port in the position I wanted in that sized box was simply to add the foam (more by luck than judgement).
As a general rule IMHO wadding is just not needed in Sub/Bass bins.
