Just before you all start shooting the Matrix brand again, it was a fault with the different bass pre amp we were testing as we were told it was the same as our ther unit so settings were set the same... as we found out the units were different and it fed a bad signal into the amp amd internal fuse went.
Didn't affect the sound as we put the original one back on the set and still managed to play all night without the back up amp that was brought down for us within 30min of a phone call now that is what i call service!!
