It was not a formula. It was an adjustment. In the early days I had made JBL 4530's and '20's in an official capacity. If you were scaling up a box, that would be one way of doing it, but scaling up from one cone area to another will give you a different figure. cone areas are not pro rata with cab sizes.

Thanks for the info Tony. The cone area is gonna vary from driver to driver I guess.Back to the drawing board for me then!!!!! :lol:

Edit: Back on topic , IMO Tony makes the best mini scoop, the RX18jr. smiley20

I don't think the difference in cone area from one 18 to another will matter, as it will only be a small amount, if any. The build quality of the box will make a bigger difference.

who makes the best scrambled eggs, and is it OK to add milk?

Just a touch of milk is ok Mykey and you might want some beans with all that waffle :lol:

baskin robbins do great scoops, 31 differant flavours........... there small mint choc chip does it for me....

it's all about one of pistachio and one of choclate.

and putting milk in scrambled eggs is outrageous! WHY!!!
