there are a few plate amps you could look at.

Can you name some or tell me where to find a list?

i would look at the dedicated 12v plate amps for car audio, you can pick em up from as little as £40,  going upwards for the better made ones. for the 9601 your need a fairly large one. Ill do a bit of digging and see what i can find with the power needed.
