These were specials I did for Karl Francis (Dilinga) I had already used the tweeters in that configuration for the RX system, so this was easy to sort out.
Peace and goodwill to all speaker builders

@b52
ive been mulling over your design and ive come over something, the dispersion of the mid horn is very tight, as its essentially a point source in that respect rather than wide horisontal dispersion usualy found in line array wouldnt you need to array multiple cabs horizontaly to get enough mid dispersion to cover the audience?

thanks..
yes that has been pointed out LOL. i have been told my mid would have inadequate dispersion above say 800 hz so the only solution i can think of is to use a high dollar compression horn that can handle a lower x-over point of say 800 or 1000hz..
then i wondern if i put some kinda fins in the throat if it would help??
i did have an idea of cutting the 8" off at say 800 and adding sealed back (2) 6.5" per side on themid's throat
or this below:
here is a link to page;
www.parts-express.com/pe/pshowdetl.cfm?&...=264-713&ctab=1#Tabs
that would be 4 per box kinda price for low spl i would think..
you got a better idea? i hope:)
ok one more idea for laughs??? what about a pair of these:

well after looking around i think my best bet is just to go with 2 compression drivers like:
www.parts-express.com/pdf/264-235.pdf " www.parts-express.com/pdf/264-318.pdf " " www.parts-express.com/pdf/264-218.pdf "
and x-0ver at 1,200
with this lens

these actually look alot better:
