best enclosure for these drivers? was created by crossed
About 8 years ago I bought a set of dual 12" PA speakers, and they were cheaply made out of chipboard. I haven't taken them out much, but even still, they are beginning to fall apart. I'm wanting to build a couple boxes for them and curious about the best design for just a couple of cheap, generic 12" drivers and 1" horn. Just a generic trapezoid cab? I also have 2 single 12" cabs I might build new boxes for too. I want to build something quality eventually (looking at X-tro or MT122), but this is what I have for now. I'm about to start a couple Cubos, so that's my budget for the time being.

your best bet would be to make the same cabs again, just use birch ply this time......
