It's a co-axial driver so definitely not intended to be horn loaded. Almost certainly designed for a small reflex box.

may be you can do some little horny port for the rear load, but for his qts and vas....a little reflex as chaudio said, like a wedge should be the easiest solution.

thx for your opinion guys...

the thing is..

1. yes it is coaxial... but i have the possibility to get these cheap...
2. i was thinking not to use the high driver... just the 12"..
3. the 95 db is a little low for a reflex driver i think... so im thinking i could put it in a horn to get more output...

but what i dont understand so much is how the different parameters work... been playing with hornresp... and i dont quite get it...

so a simple question will the driver die by putting it in a horn...

other than that i just have to play with hornresp parameters until i get a response that is pretty flat..

can you suggest (from the drivers point of view) a low and high freq i should aim for.

best regards

Daniel DJ

One reason why it won't work well is that a co-axial driver has a very soft, usually mesh dustcap which will leak a lot of air if you start increasing the air pressure by horn loading it.
