Always ready with the HD15s.. would like to compare them with the ASS BS1200.

I would stick with 2 way bass.. subs and kicks seperate... keep em.. but build more of em.

That is true but when you start taking stuff on the road you will change your mind. i would rather take one van full and drop to 40hz then take two vans and drop lower. The HOGS are big boys mate, i am holding off building the other four till i figure out what im going to do.

I am thinking 2 mx600's, and 4 bs12000's a side with 6 21" b&c neo hogs in the centre.

so go withe the ASS for now, and build the 21" hogs if i ever need them or have the money to build em!

Heathy, one thing to consider, There is a lot to be said for just building a simple reflex cab for the 21's. These cabs can go as low as the speaker will allow, and not be limited by the horn setup. If you always play in large venues, then, of course you need long throw stuff, but if you don't, then short throw reflex cabs could be the way to go. Most of the big players now and in the past have used reflex cabs for subs. Just a thought.

Peace and goodwill to all speaker builders

well, shortly we will be able to test the b&c neo 21 in a reflex against the hogs. Im more than happy to bring down the nexo's at the same time, allong with a rack of labs and a soundweb to tune everything up.

the 21's are getting painted tomorrow, so in a week they will be ok to move.

Yes Chris I look forward to it.

i could have driven 1600wrms into each driver if i had really wanted too but i didnt want to move too fast.

i now know how they sound like ticking over, and know what changes are needed to safely operate at higher volumes. I need to replace the dustcap and then i will be ready to go again.

a firend of mine has an inf 8 v2 so shall request he comes down to see what it can do.
