Is it better to stand them all up or stack them so the horn mouths are all located in the centre?
Standing them all up seems alot less hassle but if any body has perceived any performance increase in stack them on there sides i may be convinced to try it

I heard Superscoopers throw less if you lay them on their side.

No Idea whatsoever.
However I do know it works with taller scoops such as A.S.S S18/Superscooper, which tend to really throw.
Apparently shorter scoops like RX18/shortman dont suffer from throwing sub really far.

not only that - the curved bit makes the sound more round, like a ball of ice cream.

A ball of ice cream does sound good right now.

Well, call me old fashioned, but I can prove a good case for them being on there sides. I have them in the Opera House in North London. The are stacked 4 high and sit in silver sand. They have been there for a very long time. Nobody should kid themselves that the "scoop" helps roll the sound out. It doesn't. Bass waves don't recognize small differences in shape, they only see expansion, whatever the shape.
