i wasn't referring to reggae necessarily
im just sayin, with a volume of that size, i would have thought one would expect lower extension
to be fair i only cast my eye over it for 2 seconds

Yeah, sorry, me being tetchy. What I meant is that a lot of music I deal with actually gets its effect from 45 to 65, not lower, the no kick is a big bonus to me too.
|Having said that, I think I'm now totally reflex, just cant beat the quality.

For me, Martin WSX is perfectly proportioned and performing 18" Folded horn for the above freqs, except it seems to perform best outside or in huge venues.
Always wondered how 186 horn would perform, if horn length was increased from 5.5ft to 7ft (By making cab taller/deeper) also.
Advantage being 186 Horn chamber is compatible with "many" strong drivers.
