Is this a TH candidate? was created by HiSPL
OK here's the back story. I am a die hard Mac user, but I have just very recently bought a PC to use for audio related things. Therefor I have not been able to play with hornresp or Akabak enough to figure anything out. Honestly just keeping the PC straight is hard enough for me!
I got a pretty good deal on a pair of 18 sound 21LW1400's a while back. I planned on building a pair of single 21's for a small club PA (rock/country/folky). I was sitting last night playing with Sketchup and WinISD when the thought occured to me, "Why not tapped horn?" So what I'm looking for is for some kind soul to tell me if this driver is suitable for a TH. If it is I'll go through the drudgery of hornresp and try to figure it out on my own. If it's not suitable, I'll build the reflex box I am designing already.
TIA,

there seems to be a lot of info out there about tapped horns. Read thru all the Cubo threads on here, Mr cubo has done a lot of explaining about the subject. But most importantly search Tom Danley's White paper on Tapped horns and synergy horns.

The 21LW1400 has been tested with success in the MTH-4654.

Thanks so much!
Can you tell me, was the MTH4654 size increased to fit this driver, or is the cabinet big enough already?

as I know, the MTH4654 was made for both 21" and 18", in favor of quality to the 21" (more power, les distorsion at very high level)
