Has anyone tried the new model C18-650ELF ? Assuming same cabinet design, which speaker can you recommend between Challenger and Colossus? I'm about to host a music festival and will need between 10 and 20 18inch bassbins. I'm still awaiting stock for the colossus but was wondering if C18 won't be a good replacement. Challenger is x-max limited (at 5.25mm) and expensive to run (requires more amplifier output) but I don't know if it's justifiable to use x-max as selection criteria (assuming all other T/S parameters are almost the same). My amplifiers are 4 x Hybrid B2200, 1 X Audio Centre VA801 and I'm still awaiting stock for the VA 1201 and B4000 Hybrid. Thanks in advance for your anticipated response.
