Was the longest the Void V1200 has gone before it went pop?
I am still a PD man, even after hearing the dodgy stories. I have seen some PD1850's do more then 5 yrs worth of service and even then there were fine... just went abit slack and uncontrolled.
So any one been running the V1200 for more then a year?
What is the deal with recones? Can you get them?

Didn't have mine long, they were fine but didn't really suit the mini scoop they were in.
There is a lot of nonsense about the power they can take, anyhow I'd rather underdrive (limited of course).
Re-cones for any Void product seem to be unavailable. The secret police at PAP are not telling when.

As far as I can tell they seem to be pretty hardy drivers.
The only one I've ever known to die was because of dodgy wiring in the speakon shorting itself
I've been there before when smoke was literally pouring out of the scoop (Not just a wisp either, proper thick smoke) it was in and after we let it cool down it worked fine, and still does to this day!

Wouldn't say they went out of fashion, just that people now understand where they fit in the scheme of things, as opposed to comparing every new driver to the 1850.
