I received the new Matrix 5000 today, I will have it for a couple of weeks and I am based in London. If you are interrested in testing it with your boxes get in touch.

Would love a review on the hd15's and x1's

Have you got enough hd15's and pd154s to test it down to 2.66 Ohms? would be very interested in seeing if it could handle this.

Yes it will be part of the testing, but can only do one side as I have 4 hd15 (you can always bring two and then we'll be sorted), on the other hand I have enough X1 to test it on sub at 4Ohm.

would love to, unfortunatly im 5 hours drive away.

If a xp5000 is ever in the area up here for beta testing will be up for that.

good stuff on the x1's though, will be eager to see the results, :) will near enough have the same rig as you shortly, just different midtops, (mt122s)

Is this version rated at 4 ohm or 2ohm? I have 8 scoops,12 actuallyso can run 2,3 or 4per side and post results. Only if Andy recommends lowest loading. cheers

I'm sure no doubt it can do sub just want to know what is the lowest load per channel in stereo mode it can handle. Even though it is being beta tested it doesn't make sense trying to make the amp do more than it should.
