New build for new rig. Spherical dome

Hi all!
New to this forum, website, and speaker design!
Looking at either someone building these, or giving advice on what to do to build myself/with help

Basically, the rig is a portable system, a giant 10ft sphere, where people will be able to spin inside, with rear projection fabric for visuals, and sound system enclosed underneath the desk.

From what i've been told so far, for the kind of music i'll be playing, for bass I'm looking for hog scoops, four in total, and two kick bins if they will fit.
Not sure about midtops yet

The approx space available for one of two sides is, 7ftx3ftx 2ft high
And there will be a mesh going over the front to complete the curvature of the dome above, unless i can get a curve on the cabs

The music is mainly UK bass, dnb, dance, IDM etc, not so much dub or reggae, so looking at more warm, midbass, with an additional kick

Yeah, well as you can see in the grey picture, would like to have hog scoops, or kick bins, whatever has good mid-bass, and have the front curved, not sure about the psychics though, might mess up the sound?

I take it the sound system (hogs) etc will have its own purpose platform to bolt it all together. Or are you after the cabs to bolt together to form the shape....

This looks like a very nice custom project. I would say you will need a few company's to all work together on this project to built the different parts....
Im happy to quote you for the custom speaker cabs, this is the type of thing I specialise in. Stage wise ill send your pics over to another company and see if its the kind of thing they would be interested in building.......

What do you mean by platform? And yeah hoping to have seperate speakers that fit together
Thanks! Just trying to figure out which speakers will fit in the space, and what kind I need for the sound im looking for

start with the cabs you want to use, then if possible adjust the cabs to suit your needs. like a box in a box. to keep the weight down the hog could be built sides top bottom from 15mm ply, then encase this in a 15mm box following the design shape, each cab will be used in x position. The down side to this is they could only be used in this configuration. It gets a bit more tricky with the higher frequency range to get the dispersion correct and to minimise phase issues. so the tops would need to be custom made.

do you have a floor plan with measurement's on of area to fit hogs, mids, and tops into. and a height plan. I don't mind having a look for you...
