Cubo 18 box or..? Update: MBP-46!

Hi ppl

I'm about to build some bassboxes for my PA soundsystem, but I'm not sure what kind of boxes i should use..
Which box is best for most power, most punch and most pressure?
The boxes is gonna be used in party premises and small halls.
I'm looking for the most amount of bass infront of the box.
Really not sure what kind of bass boxes are best for my usage...

Depends on music being played , if u want a one box solution I would go for the mbp-46! Goes low enough for most music but has a great kick aswell , something I heard the cubo carnt do so well as the mbp-46 can be crossed higher! But if your building kicks aswell defo go with cubo 18!

Dunno how that driver would go in the cubo but should work good in mbp-46 which isn't much bigger than a cubo!

Yep that's the one , I took mine out on Nye and was very impressed! These cabs are good with dance music as they cover a good amount of kick (or punch) , I cross mine straight to my 12"+1" tops! Read the thread on here about them , somethimes have an issue if the magnet is large as it sits close to the back panel but on the tread someone metioned about increasing depth abit!

This magnet is a double 240 oz magnet, so it's extra deep.

That doesn't look to bad might need a notch out of the back panel but don't quote me on it , its when you get into the realms of pd and void drivers is when you have a problem with magnet size cuz there huge!

Maybe adjust the angle of the elementplate, or shade the backpanel

The only thing I would say is go easy on them drivers to start with as the xmax isn't mega amounts , but In saying that probs about the same xmax as the drivers I got in mine at a guess cuz of not knowing the ts parameters! I run mine at about 600-700w each! I haven't used programs to load my cabs , I'm a drop in and test sort of bloke! But I'm sure they will be fine! How much power u thinking of running them at?

Well, my amps goes at 2500w mono @ 8 ohm
